Founded in 1944, Wu Ho Medical began operations as a manufacturer of indispensable medical goods for local Taiwanese hospitals. In 1949, with a subsitantial investment from the five founding brothers, Wu Ho introduced its first wheelchair. Over the last five decades Wu Ho has steadily expanded its range of wheelchairs and wheelchair accessories. Today, Wu Ho is widely recognized for its various line of wheelchairs that include the innovative,the lightweight, collapsible Ovation Series Wheeled Walkers and the revolutionary non-welding, modularized and customizable "EIM Aluminum Wheelchairs".
Wu Ho Medical is wholly commited to the design and development of new and innovative wheelchair products. Each Wu Ho product features one or more design and construction patents, designed to directly benefit the user through increased comnfort and greater ease-of-use. By focusing on comfort and ease-of-use, Wu Ho Medical has been able to design, develop and introduce new product features and innovations demanded by wheelchair users.
Wu Ho Medical operates a 45,000 square foot, ISO 13485:2016 and CE certiied design and manufacturing facility. Staffed by a team of dedicated engineers and production crew, Wu Ho Medical is uniquely positioned to guarantee unsurpassed product quality and strict manufacturing proces control. In addition, Wu Ho Medical in-house design and testing facilities afford the company the ability to quickly and cost-effectively introduce new and innovative products to competitive markets.
